A Bit About Alyssa
A mother, dancer, Pilates instructor and well respected physical therapist, Alyssa Rutchik Padial, PT, MS, OCS, PRPC achieved her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 1996 after receiving her BA in Dance and Anthropology from Skidmore College in 1991. Alyssa has been treating men and women with pelvic floor dysfunction since 2003 and completed certification as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner amongst the inaugural group of certified specialists, distinguishing her as an expert in the field of pelvic rehabilitation.
Alyssa is certified in Orthopedics by the American Physical Therapy Association since 2003 and as a Pilates instructor by the Kane School of Core Integration since 2002.
Alyssa is a highly respected educator, with extensive lecturing on orthopedic, pelvic and prenatal health topics. Her vast experience in dance medicine, biomechanical foot and lower quarter evaluation, custom orthotic prescriptions, vestibular and balance rehabilitation, manual therapies and pelvic health allow a head-to-toe and everything in-between approach for optimal outcomes in her patients.
